What the work looks like.
You report to a FedEx terminal in the evening, hook a set of doubles that’s already loaded and sealed, and run it to the next terminal. Drop it, hook the return set, drive back. Mostly nights; most drivers are off the clock and heading home before the morning commute starts.
Some runs are assigned — same route, same nights, every week. Others are unassigned and dispatched as freight needs them, which suits drivers who like a little variety or want extra miles. We’ll match you to whichever fits.
You don’t touch freight. You don’t sit at a dock waiting on a shipper. You drive.

What we need from you.
- Class A CDL
- Doubles/triples endorsement
- At least 2 years of tractor-trailer experience
- Clean motor vehicle record
- Comfortable running nights
