Freightliner
Cascadia
The workhorse of the fleet. Quiet cab, wide bunk, every driver aid you would expect.
We’re a FedEx linehaul contractor out of Freehold, New Jersey. Our drivers pull doubles between terminals in New Jersey and Maryland on runs that end where they start — so every shift ends in your own bed.
Velocity Couriers owns the tractors; FedEx owns the trailers and the freight. Our drivers hook a set of doubles at one terminal, run it to the next, and come back. Drop and hook, no touch — you never open a trailer door.
Being small is the point. You know who dispatches you, who signs your check, and who answers when you call at 2 a.m. with a flat. Equipment gets fixed, not deferred. And when a better run opens up, you hear about it first.
Safety isn’t a poster on the wall here. Clean records, rested drivers, well-maintained iron — that’s what keeps the FedEx contract, and the contract is what keeps everyone working.
Linehaul runs that end where they start. Mostly nights, so your days are yours.
Late-model Freightliner Cascadias, Peterbilt 579s and Mack Anthems - no tired iron.
Coverage available for you and your family, plus performance bonuses.
You are paid from your first day of orientation, not your first solo run.
Three makes, all late-model, all spec’d for pulling tandem trailers at night. You’ll be assigned a tractor and it stays yours.
